Why Earwig?
Earwig was formed after company founder Cheryl Hacking took a taster course at the local college and became hooked on signing and deaf issues.
Years followed of British Sign Language courses, communication support, returning to the taster course but this time assisting the tutor!
Earwig is passionate about deaf awareness, delivering a unique learning experience. Our goals are to ensure every service provider dealing with the public, have staff, caring and compliant in equality.
"In October 2004 the final phase of the Disability Discrimination Act came into effect. Business now have a legal obligation to ensure Deaf and Hard of Hearing people have a fair and equal access to their services."
